Mrs. Garrabrant is hosting the ¨Have A Heart, Be a Lifesaver” program.  Students of CPS are invited to donate one dollar and receive two lifesavers and a paper heart.  The paper heart is taped on the trophy case near the main office, representing that you are a supporter of animal shelters.  All the money goes to the Humane Society and local shelters.  ¨We didn´t really have a goal.  We just wanted to help someone in someway,¨ said Felicia Carty, one of the eighth grade students involved in the project.  The four eighth grade students contributing to the project are Felicia C., Shannel J., Hana T., and Miriam S.

So far they have raised $300.  ¨I am very proud of the four young ladies because all of it was their idea,¨ Mrs. Garrabrant said.  Make sure to donate and support the ¨Have A Heart, Be A Lifesaver¨ program!
